The wellbeing and comfort of our visitors is incredibly important to us. Should you wish to bring a support animal to DTX + UCX please
Entrance
Manchester Central entrances are fully ramped and accessible. The foyer entrances are sensor-activated.
Family Room
For anyone needing space to nurse or express, the venue room behind the venue desk can be used as a Family Room.Induction loops
Induction Loop facilities are available in the Central and Charter Foyers, as well as the Exchange Auditorium. Additionally, some theatres have silent headsets at hand.
The venue is equipped with a Deaf Alerter® fire warning system, compatible with Deaf Alerter® pagers used nationally and internationally. A limited number of venue-specific Alerters can also be borrowed from our concierge desk.
Parking
The venue is easily accessible by public transport or car. Parking is available beneath the venue (provided by NCP), including 15 disabled spaces on the Upper Level with lift access to the event.
Additional Blue Badge parking is available nearby on Mount Street.
Prayer Room
The venue room behind the venue desk can be used as a Prayer Room.
Toilets
Accessible toilets are available throughout the event space, all equipped with emergency pull cords.
A Changing Places Toilet is also available, accessible via the Central Foyer.
To use these facilities, a Radar Key is required—this can be collected from our concierge desks.
WELLBEING HUB/QUIET SPACE
We have a dedicated Wellbeing Hub within the main event space, designed as a quiet space for all DTX + UCX visitors. Whether you need a moment to recharge or step away from the buzz of the event, this space is here for you. Its location will be clearly marked on the event floorplan.
Wheelchairs
